KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Field Hockey team lost on Saturday at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex to SUNY Oneonta 5-1 in a non-conference game.

The Red Dragons took the lead early against Keuka as they charged down the left side wand went far post to make it 1-0. Keuka College and their defense settled into the game, stopping many opportunities by SUNY Oneonta. Midway through the first, Oneonta doubled their lead. Keuka College had multiple corners with the clock at 0:00 at the end of the half but they were unable to score as Oneonta led 2-0 at the break.
Ten minutes into the second half, Keuka College pulled to within one. Off of a corner, the ball left the circle and was collected by Rielly Albee. She hit it back into the circle, directly to Shelby Lamb in front of goal. Lamb snuck it around the goalie to the left side to make it a 2-1 game. Unfortunately for the Wolves, SUNY Oneonta regained their two goal margin minutes later and added a pair of insurance goals late as they defeated Keuka College 5-1 on Saturday.
- Keuka College is now 0-2 all-time against SUNY Oneonta. The Red Dragons defeated Keuka by the same score last season
- Albee had the fourth assist of the season for Keuka College as a team. It broke a tie and now is the second-most in a season in program history
- Adele Fairbrother had a pair of defensive saves in the game, a career-best
- Kassidy Valentine's 17 saves set a new career-high for the junior
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will open North Eastern Athletic Conference play on Wednesday afternoon as Keuka College hosts Morrisville State. The Wolves are still looking for their first program victory over their Mustangs as Morrisville State has taken the previous three meetings.
