KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Field Hockey team lost on Friday to nationally-ranked University of Rochester by the score of 10-0 at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
Keuka College (1-4) rotated all four keepers in the game. Freshman Megan Makowski led the way with five saves in her action.

The University of Rochester struck quickly on Friday, scoring 1:12 into the game for the early advantage. The Yellowjackets would continue the pressure in the half. The University of Rochester totaled 16 shots in the first half and netted six goals as the led the Wolves 6-0 at the half.
Rochester continued to attack in the second half. They finished the final 35 minutes with 21 total shots and earned 11 corners. Keuka College rotated freshmen goalies in the second half with both Megan Makowski and Kiera Fahey making their collegiate debuts. Makowski record five saves and Fahey closed the game with three. The University of Rochester would continue onto the 10-0 victory.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves remain at home next Wednesday as they host the Knights of SUNY Geneseo. Keuka College has faced SUNY Geneseo in every season that Keuka has had a field hockey program. The Knights defeated the Wolves 6-1 last season.
