KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Field Hockey team lost at home to Keystone College by the score of 4-1 on Wednesday.

Keuka College struck early against the Giants on Wednesday. Alyssa Orsino let a backhanded sweep shot go from the middle of the circle. The ball got past the goalie and spun over the line to give the Wolves a 1-0 lead 1:13 into the game. Keystone would control the ball in the frame and have six penalty corners, but Kassidy Valentine made three saves in goal to send the game to halftime with Keuka College leading.
In the second half, it was Keystone who scored quickly. The Giants tied the game 3:35 into the second half and took the lead less than 90 seconds later. Keystone College would add a pair of insurance goals as they outshot Keuka 11-2 in the half to defeat the Wolves 4-1 on Wednesday.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will face a tough test on Friday as they welcome in a nationally-ranked team to the Jephson Community Athletic Complex for the second time in school history. Keuka College will face the University of Rochester on Friday at 4pm. The Yellowjackets will enter the game as the 11th ranked team in the country.
