KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Keuka College Field Hockey team lost to nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College 3-0 at home on Thursday afternoon.
Kassidy Valentine made 14 saves for Keuka College (2-11, 1-1 NEAC).

The Cardinals got on the board early, scoring a goal five minutes into the game for the lead. However, the Keuka College defense would hold. Despite having a 14-0 lead in shots in the half, St. John Fisher would be unable to get another goal in the period as the game went to halftime at 1-0.
In the second half, the Cardinals continued to attack. They netted a pair of goals in the half to make it 3-0. The damage could have been worse as St. John Fisher outshot Keuka College 17-0 in the second half. Kassidy Valentine stood tall in goal for the Wolves with 14 saves in the game, but St. John Fisher College would win the game 3-0.

Coming up for Keuka College: The Wolves remain at home for a key North Eastern Athletic Conference game on Saturday afternoon. Keuka College will host Wilson College at 1pm on Saturday, October 14. It will be Green and Gold Celebration Weekend on campus and the Keuka College Field Hockey team will hold their annual Parents' Day celebration prior to the game.
