HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Keuka College Field Hockey team lost a non-conference game on Saturday at Juniata College by the score of 5-1.
Keuka College (1-4, 0-0 NEAC) got their lone goal from sophomore Adele Fairbrother. Taylor Lessard had the assist on the goal and Kassidy Valentine made seven saves in goal for Keuka.

The Eagles struck first scoring three minutes into the game and quickly doubled up their lead after 12 minutes of action. Keuka College took advantage of their lone penalty corner of the game just before halftime. Taylor Lessard inserted the ball and Adele Fairbrother scored for the Wolves to make it 2-1 at the half.
Juniata increased the pressure in the second half. They had 15 shots in the frame and took nine penalty corners against the Wolves. They would add three goals onto their lead as Juniata defeated Keuka College 5-1
KC Notes:
  • Saturday was Keuka's second meeting with Juniata. The Eagles defeated the Wolves 5-0 in Keuka Park last year
  • The goal was the first of Adele Fairbrother's career
  • Keuka College has now scored in four straight games. The only game this season that they didn't score was the scoreless tie with Brockport that went to a shootout
Coming up for Keuka College: The Wolves return home to the Jephson Community Athletic Complex on Wednesday, September 20 to host Oswego State at 4pm. The Lakers defeated the Wolves 6-1 in Oswego last season.
