KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Keuka College Field Hockey team fell at home on Sunday to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) by the score of 4-0 at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.

The Wolves (0-10, 0-1 NEAC) conclude their home stand on Tuesday. Keuka College will host Nazareth College at 5:30pm.

Elizabeth Sherman made 20 saves in goal for the Wolves.

Keuka College came out on Sunday displaying a strong defense. They were able to withstand the Engineers' attack and turn it into a counter. With Alysa Maddaleno running up top, the Green and Gold was able to apply some pressure to RPI's goal. After a scoreless 20 minutes of play, the Engineers broke through with their first goal. They would net three more within a five minute span to lead 3-0 at the half.

The defense of the Wolves was the story in the second half. The Green and Gold turned away 14 shots on goal in the half, 13 by Sherman and one on a defensive save by Alexandra Pendell. RPI did find the back of the goal once in the frame on their way to the 4-0 victory over Keuka.
