Wolves Fall to Pioneers 6-0 in Field Hockey

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Keuka College Field Hockey team fell to Utica College 6-0 on Sunday at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.

 The Wolves (0-6) travel to Elmira College on Wednesday before opening their North Eastern Athletic Conference schedule on Saturday against Morrisville State at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.

Elizabeth Sherman made a season-high 24 saves for the Wolves.

Utica College controlled the opening half, outshooting the Wolves 22-0. The Pioneers scored seven minutes into the game against Keuka College. Utica added four more goals in the first and led 5-0 at halftime.

The Pioneers maintained control in the second half. Keuka College was unable to get a shot in the game while Utica College had 19 in the half. The Wolves made 15 saves in the second half, but Utica College was able to add a sixth goal on their way to the 6-0 victory.
