Keuka College Falls to Utica in Field Hockey

UTICA, N.Y. -- The Keuka College Field Hockey team lost at Utica College on Wednesday afternoon by the score of 8-0.

Elizabeth Sherman made 21 saves for the Green and Gold in net. Utica got a goal 1:18 into the game and did not look back. They led 5-0 at halftime on their way to the 8-0 victory. The Pioneers had a 37-2 advantage in shots. Alexandra Bullard and Nicole Miller recorded the shots for Keuka.  

Keuka College will return home this weekend with a berth in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship Game on the line. The Green and Gold will host Wilson College on Saturday at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex at 1pm. A victory over the Phoenix and Keuka will be in the inaugural NEAC Championship Game in the program's first season.
