Equestrian Senior Salute - Aly Breckenridge

Equestrian Senior Salute - Aly Breckenridge

Name: Aly Breckenridge

Hometown/High School: Winfield, NY / Mt. Markham

Major: Occupational Therapy

Plans for next year: Returning to Keuka to complete my Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy

Career goal: Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Favorite memory with the team: Qualifying for Regionals in the Spring season of my senior year.

Other activities at Keuka College: I was on the Keuka College competitive cheerleading team for 3 years. I have been a OT Honors facilitator for two years. I have been on the Keuka College Equestrian team for 1 1/2 years.

What advice would give to freshmen on the team: My advice for freshmen is to live in the moment. Being a college athlete is not something everyone gets to do, enjoy and appreciate the opportunity you were given.

What would you tell someone looking at Keuka College: Keuka College is more than a college. It is a family.

What does it mean to be a part of the #KCFamily: I have fully enjoyed being a part of the #KCFamily and will always hold on to the memories I have made in my last four years.

From Coach Bedient: Aly Breckenridge is a very strong competitor, leading the team with wins and having an amazing season. I'm sad she won't be back for another amazing season but know she will put that competitive spirit into her future goals.

A message from Aly: I would like to personally thank my parents and coaches for the endless support and love.

Our seniors had their Keuka College spring season cut short because of the global pandemic. Over the next several weeks we will take the opportunity to thank and honor each of these seniors who demonstrated such strength, dedication and support to their sport, to Keuka College Athletics and throughout their time at Keuka College. We are so proud to have them as part of our #KCFamily and we can't wait to see what they do next!  #gratitudeforKCSeniors2020
