KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – Winter Storm Stella has ripped through the northeast dropping plenty of snow and causing plenty of headaches for spring sports at Keuka College.
The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team will remain in search of their first game of the season. The Wolves were initially delayed a day from March 15 to March 16 for their game at Alfred University. The game with the Saxons has since been postponed and a makeup date has not been announced. Keuka College is now on their fourth attempt at a first game. It will also be the home opener for the Wolves as Keuka College hosts Hartwick College on March 22 at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
First pitch of the 2017 baseball season will have to wait for the warm breezes of Florida. Keuka was initially schedule to play in Pennsylvania this weekend against Penn St.-Altoona and Penn St.-DuBois, but those games have been cancelled due to the weather. Keuka College will now open their season in Florida on Thursday, March 23. The Wolves will face St. Olaf College from Minnesota in a doubleheader.
